Bio

I'm a Postdoctoral Associate at PITT Computational Social Dynamics Lab (PICSO LAB), School of Computing and Information (SCI), University of Pittsburgh, which is directed by Dr. Yu-Ru Lin. I was previously a visiting Ph.D. student at PICSO LAB between Sep 2017 and Dec 2019. I am working on spatio-temporal modeling and forecasting societal events. I was previously a visiting Ph.D. student at Web Information Systems Group, Delft University of Technology. I received my Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees from Department of Information Systems, B.Sc. degree from Computer Engineering Department at METU. My Ph.D. supervisors were Dr. Tugba Taskaya-Temizel and Dr. Yu-Ru Lin.
